Shipping & Delivery Policy

Star Link Trading Co. (LLC) delivers across all seven Emirates of the UAE. This policy explains where we deliver, how long it takes, what it costs, and what happens if something goes wrong.

1. Delivery areas

We deliver to all UAE Emirates:

  • Dubai
  • Abu Dhabi
  • Sharjah
  • Ajman
  • Ras Al Khaimah (RAK)
  • Fujairah
  • Umm Al Quwain

We do not currently ship outside the UAE. For international orders, please contact us directly at info@starlinktrading.com to discuss freight options.

2. Delivery timeframe

Dubai Same day or next working day (orders before 14:00)
Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain 1 working day
Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah 1 to 2 working days
Bulk / pallet orders 2 to 3 working days (confirmed at quote stage)

“Working days” = Sunday to Thursday, excluding UAE public holidays. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday, or a public holiday are processed on the next working day.

Delivery times are estimates and start from the moment your order is confirmed (for bank transfers, after we’ve received payment). Unexpected events outside our control — adverse weather, road closures, major events — may delay delivery; in such cases we will contact you with a revised time.

3. Delivery fees

VAT (5%) is added on top of both order total and delivery fee. The total is shown clearly at checkout.

4. Order processing

Orders are processed once payment is confirmed:

  • Bank Transfer: We start processing as soon as the funds appear in our Emirates Islamic account (typically same day if transferred before 14:00 on a working day, otherwise next working day).
  • Pay on Account (B2B): We start processing immediately upon order confirmation. Payment follows the agreed 60-day terms.

You will receive an order confirmation email immediately, and a dispatch email when your order leaves our warehouse.

5. Delivery hours

We deliver during business hours:

  • Sunday to Thursday: 9:00 to 18:00
  • Saturday: 9:00 to 14:00 (by arrangement, subject to availability)
  • Friday: No standard deliveries (urgent deliveries can be arranged on request)

Please make sure someone is available at the delivery address to receive and sign for the order during these hours.

6. Failed delivery / not at address

If our delivery partner cannot reach you or no one is at the address to receive the order, we will:

  1. Call the phone number you provided at checkout
  2. Attempt one re-delivery on the next working day at no extra charge
  3. After two failed attempts, return the order to our warehouse and contact you to arrange next steps. A second re-delivery may incur an additional AED 15 fee.

Please make sure your delivery address and phone number are accurate before placing your order. Star Link Trading is not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect address information.

7. Receiving your order

When the order arrives:

  • Check the number of boxes against the invoice
  • Inspect outer packaging for visible damage
  • Sign for the delivery only if everything appears in order

If anything looks wrong — wrong items, visible damage, missing boxes — note it on the delivery slip before signing, and contact us within 48 hours at info@starlinktrading.com or +971 55 998 8248.

8. Bulk and B2B orders

For large or bulk orders (typically 10+ cartons, or any order above AED 5,000), we may schedule the delivery directly with you to ensure smooth unloading and that you have appropriate space/staff to receive it. This is confirmed at the quote stage.

9. Tax invoices

Every order is accompanied by a VAT-compliant tax invoice showing:

  • Our TRN: Available on request
  • Our trade licence number: Available on request
  • Your name and address
  • Itemised products, quantities, and prices
  • 5% VAT calculated separately
  • Order number and date

The tax invoice is included in the package and emailed to you at the time of dispatch.

10. Risk and ownership

Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the order is delivered to the address you provided. Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received full payment.
